Anesthetics – Up Close and Personal
by Mary Jane Haake, CPCP
Get an inside look at the labyrinth of rules and
regulations necessary to bring a topical anesthetic to market. Go behind
the scenes of chemical companies and production facilities, which must
qualify for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in order to maintain
their FDA manufacturing licenses, through testing, mixing, bottling,
labeling and delivery to your office. You won't believe the engineers,
chemists, scientists and government regulators involved in the
production of a legal, safe and effective anesthetic.

Mary Jane is the President of Dermal Source, and is cited
as the "Woman Who Introduced Anesthetics to the Industry". She continues
her leadership role by presenting an eye opening journey through what
it takes to manufacture, test and bring a topical anesthetic to market.
Mary Jane takes her role seriously as a SPCP Supplier, as evidenced by
her attendance at this 20th anniversary convention. An internationally
recognized speaker and trainer, she is one of the most knowledgeable and
exciting speakers working today.

by Mary Jane Haake, CPCP
A full explanation of everything involved in breast cancer, from the types of surgeries performed, to the challenges of tattooing realistic areolas over scar tissue. You will learn specific needle groupings and recipes for performing this service, as well as a discussion of small tattoo choices to help restore symmetry and beauty to the breast. Full handouts will be available to attendees including how to bill insurance companies for this service. (The federal government has mandated that tattooing of the nipple/areola complex must be covered by insurance.)
